Main Role (Overall Accountability)

Responsible for Managing all Unit Heads under Business Solutions Department:
T24 Competency Group
IT Special Project
Backend Applications
Delivery Channels and Cards


Principal Accountabilities
1. Recommend necessary strategy and technology for implementing new Application.
2. Develop capacity, availability and up keeping plan for business applications.
3. Ensure that the changing needs of business are addressed continuously and appropriate software solutions are recommended.
4. Ensure that enhancement or development is based on best technology and practices in the industry.
5. Review the architecture, design, specifications and technical documents related to any enhancement.
6. Balance the demands of the users and liaise with the Project Manager for timely completion of tasks as per the set of rules of Banks Quality Management System.
7. Contribute ideas to help support team to become more effective and seek ideas from other team members.
8. Ensure that high quality deliverables and work products are provided and meet commitments for the schedule on satisfying the banks user needs.
9. Recourse management.ion
10. Coordinate with DGM IT in resolving issues and disputes.
11. Ensue that regular updates on progress are conveyed to DGM IT.

Candidate Profile Description Personnel Specifications

Master degree holder in IT, ITIL will be an advantage.
Minimum 10-8 years experience in a reputed organization in the field of IT, having knowledge and experience in the Application Management.
Good management capabilities with abilities to lead a team of professionals with at least 2 years in similar potion.
Good Academic background with extensive domain Knowledge of support systems of a bank.
Must have implemented the following products or has hands-on working knowledge
o Debit card system .
o Credit card system .
o Mobile banking .
o Internet Banking .
o Collection System.
o Newgen Omniflow & OmniScan.
o Corporate Website on SharePoint platform
o Intranet Website SharePoint platform
o Oracle Development
o Oracle ERP.
o BCSB.
o Electronic Cheque Clearing System (ECC).
High level of programming Knowledge in various languages.
High level knowledge of SDLC.
In-depth experiences in system design using structured and object oriented methodology.
Working knowledge in system architecture design and implementation.
Working knowledge in planning, implementation and administration of Application through the use of controls, procedures, measurement and strategies.
High level knowledge of the current technology in the industry.
Documentation and report/MIS Preparation.
Good communication, presentation skills with good command of written English.
Good Interpersonal relations with pleasing personality.
