We have an excellent opening for a leading bank in Kuwait. We are looking for a candidate, experience in and good knowledge of Kuwait and regional credit markets with specialisation/ professional qualification in Banking/ Accountancy/ Finance/ Management with at least 10 years experience in Corporate Credit & Marketing functions.
Leading a team of RMs and Credit Analysts for business development and enhance corprate relationships resulting in increased revenue, within the framework and guidelines of the Bank and Regulators
Lead the team to attain the objectives of the Unit in totality by developing new business, maintain portfolio quality, and regular reviews to ensure achievement of growth and business targets of the Unit, assigned by Management.
Sets goals, objectives and measurement standards for each Relationship Manager/ Credit Analysts of the Unit and monitors and evaluates their performance on a periodical basis. Ensures that departmental efforts are co-ordinated in meeting customer requirements.
Manage, administer and monitor utilisation of credit facilities in corporate accounts and maintain the quality of risk assets.
Conducting timely/ periodic review of credit files using various data, e.g. balance sheet, projections, account statistics, etc, preparation/ renewal of credit lines and presentation to appropriate authorities for approval and subsequently advise the customer and other operational units.
Ensure timely documentation/ updating of securities, security valuations, renewal of insurance policies.
Regularise and follow up on past dues, temporary accommodations/ excesses over limits.
Supervision of all procedural work and submission of returns and other data related to the allocated portfolio.
Regular visits to clients to monitor the business, liaison with owners and ensure optimum channelling of business through the Bank.
Mobilise new business (assets and liabilities) and cross sell Banks products.
Monitors Non Performing Assets of the Bank and decides on appropriate strategies and plans for re-structuring/recovery
Propose and manage remedial solutions for SM and classified accounts under the portfolio, with a view to monitor and regularise the accounts to prevent further provisions and progressive upgrades.
Develop team members and groom them for additional responsibilities.
Take ownership of the quality of proposals and write-ups originating from the unit.
