Our client is a major main contractor operating on a global scale. They are currently seeking a Project Controls Manager to oversee their pre- and post-construction planning team at their head office in Saudi Arabia.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing all pre- and post-construction planning and cost reporting activities across all Saudi Arabian business units
Interfacing with the client and consultant and presenting reports in order to advise on any risks or opportunities for the companys major projects
Establishing the master programme, sub-contract liaison, short-term planning and processing data recording and reporting
Preparing critical path programmes pertaining to pre- and post-contract construction activities
Providing an auditing function pertaining to a range of live projects as required
Liaising with external design teams in relation to all planning activities, ensuring documents are produced to the agreed deadlines
Extrapolating relevant information with regards to the preparation of claims documentation
CLIENT STIPULATED REQUIREMENTS
Degree in a relevant Engineering subject, ideally with a membership to a professional organisation
15-20 years experience in pre- and post-contract project controls gained with a reputable major building contractor/consultancy or project management company
Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to recognise alternative building methods
Previous Middle East experience
Professional and methodical in your thinking, with the ability to multi-process
Fluency in English is essential
