Job Description
Ensure the successful implementation of HSE management system, ensuring all requirements are understood by all personnel
Ensure the effective implementation of project HSE strategy, monitoring and measurement of the HSE Policies within the project
Provide standards, tools, methodology and guidance on HSE to project managers, construction managers and other personnel.
Ensure all work and procedures are aligned to the Client and/or project HSE requirements
Ensure formal training and refresher training on all HSE procedures as necessary plus any other HSE training activities as directed
Undertake regular inspections and audits including subcontractors and follow through on timely correction and implementation of corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence
Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory and client health and safety requirements
Direct and support the HSE team in ensuring all work related risks and mitigation measures are in the detailed plan prior to commencement of the work
Carry out incident investigation & root cause analysis of accident/incident and near misses and provide recommendations or steps to be taken to prevent recurrence.
Review and responsible for a weekly report detailing any incidents or near misses and potential hazards from up-coming planned works
Scheduling of internal HSE meetings on site to review the HSE performance and policies
Ensure implementation of environmental procedures including meeting waste management targets by dealing with waste disposal, response to spills and leaks and emissions to atmosphere
Maintain a good working relationship with Project Director, Project Managers, Company HSE Manager, Project Construction Managers, Planning and Procurement Team, HSE team and others

Desired Candidate's Profile Gender Male Nationality Nationality -> No Preference Candidate Current Location Job Location -> UAE Work Experience 11+ Years Candidate Profile Description 10+ years experience working preferably with main contractor on mega civil construction / building projects of which at least 5 years experience as a HSE Manager Relevant formal / technical tertiary qualification preferred including recognized health and safety auditing and EHS qualification such as NEBOSH Diploma Experience working within ISO and other management systems environments such as, 9001, 14001 and 18001 Experience working in ADNOC civil project(s) and previous approval desired but not mandatory Have a good understanding and working knowledge of AD EHSMS RF and ADNOC Code of Practices Strong verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and presentations Experiencing in developing and facilitating training programs and strong project management skills. Strong diagnostic, analytical and organizational management skills including a particular attention to detail.
