Welcome guests and take beverage orders from customers
Make sure that a correct payment is taken.
To be responsible for the efficient and profitable day-to-day running of the bar operations
Assists service staff during busy service with delivering food, taking orders.
Keep the bar tidy and clean at all times. Visually check the bar area and make sure that everything looks clean.
Present beverages in correct glasses.
Present menus to customers ad answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request.
Inform customers of daily specials.
Have a full knowledge of all the beverages we can offer to be able to describe and recommend beverages to customers
And to be able to do create more ideas and recopies.
Make sure all the glasses are clean, polished and have no cracks in them.
Make sure the bar is always stocked up and regularly check the sell by dates.
Notify your manager if you notice certain beverages or other items running low in stock.
At all times to be aware of and practice good customer relations, assisting the guest in any way which does not adversely affect other customers.
To attend to customer complaints satisfactorily.
Removing dishes and glasses from tables or counters
To clean agreed designated areas, in accordance with laid-down procedures, morning/evening routines and hygiene requirements.
Washing Cleaning and polishing all the glass wear for the bar.
You will be required to carry out physical work, which may involve some lifting and carrying of stock
Complete the list daily tasks required for your shift as (opening & closing, cleaning, requisitions... etc)
Collect payments from customers and handling cash.
To ensure that the bar operations comply with all the statutory requirements including Health and Safety, and Food Hygiene Regulations.
