As an occupational Therapist, your responsibilities include (but not limited to)the following:
Adapt school/center environment, tools and materials for the purpose of improving student functioning and facilitating client access to curricular and instructional activities
Assess clients fine motor and development skills for the purpose of determining their needs and develop recommendations.
Implement therapeutic activities for providing appropriate care to clients and/or support clients IEP Plan for use in classrooms.
Assess and Identify individual needs of our clients/with respect to various occupational therapy issues and develop appropriate intervention plans and programs to address their needs.
Provide consultation and training teachers, parents and other stakeholders.
Required to conduct training workshops and public education presentations and to assist in the research and development of Occupational Therapy
Participate and collaborative consultation model to provide requested information , review/revise clients, occupational therapy goals, develop plans for services and make recommendations to implement goals.
Maintain files/records, intervention purpose of ensuring such devices are used appropriately and achieves optimal benefits.
Research for resources and methods (e.g intervention and treatment techniques) from the purpose of determining the appropriate approach for addressing clients functional goals any necessary duties and responsibilities necessary to support the department or team.
