Experience working in an IT environment
In addition to this, familiarity with the following would be an asset:
Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook 2010 and later
Microsoft Windows OS installation
Microsoft Active Directory User Management
Help Desk processes
Computer Hardware installation, RAM/ HDD change
Service Desk tools such as Manage Engine
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, connection, printer and software issues reported to the Service Desk
Maintain daily backup
Troubleshoot and resolve all problems encountered with hardware and software. Escalate requests to the appropriate party, as needed.
Conduct technology training for new users
Monitor and remove virus, spyware, and other non-authorized software
Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services.
Responsible for Server installation like Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, File Server, Terminal Server, Print Server, WDS, FRMS, FTP, ERP applications, etc., Configuration, and maintain physical servers and virtual computer servers ensuring the high availability is configure properly.
