The Regional Sales Manager (Based on Territory) assumes full management and accountability for achieving the following:
Creating and developing business plans for the Business Unit in the target territory
Participating in the go-to market strategy and determining potential market opportunities based upon political, legislative or other governmental activities.
Identifying, evaluating, and qualifying market leads and initiating business relations with potential accounts.
Building a strong lead pipeline in his region, identify and support the selection of local business partners in coordination with the Director of Government Sales
Achieving the sales targets according to the Business Units overall strategy as communicated by the Director of Government Sales
Preparing quarterly sales reports for senior management.
Maintaining sales CRM at all times and ensure all accurate documentation is presented.
Managing and developing strategic relationships with business partners.
Building and maintaining direct contacts with governmental authorities, end-users and resellers in target countries.
Interacting with internal departments and customers / potential customers to design, negotiate and drive agreements to closure.
Conducting awareness and presentations to business partners and clients for introducing the Business Unit's solutions.
Following up with partners and clients on business progress on tender / proposal progress.
Coordinating with the pre-sales team for preparing project tenders and proposals.
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelors degree in Engineering or Business Administration. (MBA in international business is a plus) and should have at least 5 years sales experience in the field of security document systems, smart cards, ID printing, defense, or similar areas. A comprehensive knowledge of sales to governmental agencies is a must, according to his Region. Candidate must be comfortable working with considerable independence and within a cross-border, international team environment. Multi-lingual skills preferred.
