Country Technical Manager in South Sudan Job

We are looking for experienced Country Technical Manager to lead the team in Sudan.

Our Customer is one of the most trusted private risk and security management companies in East and Central Africa. Clients include Tier One Mining, Oil & Gas, UN, NGOs, government and commercial entities in some of the most difficult and complex environments in the world.

The CTM‚s responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Lead the technical department and manage its resources to attain maximum efficiency in designing and delivering technical solutions to clients;
Manager personnel effectively and develop capabilities and capacity in line with business requirements and growth;
Manage the development of service lines and products in the most cost effective manner within quality standards;
Direct technical activities so that technical solutions are developed on schedule and within quality standards and cost objectives, meeting customer requirements;
Maintain close liaison with the Group Technical Manager to ensure appropriate common practice for delivery of services;
Establishing an appropriate personal rapport with potential and current clients to identify requirements;
Prepare cost models and draft bids for any new technical requirements for both current and new clients;
Assist the Country Director and Head of Risk in preparing and delivering sales presentations for new business;
Provide accurate and timely product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information;
Establish new accounts by identifying potential clients; planning and organizing sales call schedule;
Win client trust by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements;
Prepare sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends;
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies;
Manage, review, and present the department‚s operational and project budgets for analysis and approval;
Formulate and recommend operational policies and programs that guide the organization in maintaining and improving a competitive position and profitability of the technical operation.

Required Qualifications:
Degree in Electronics / Computer science / Communications;
Fluent English;
Ability to design and build security solutions that meet client requirements or solve business problems;
Minimum of 4 years‚ experience managing technical teams;
Business development and sales experience;
Well-developed and polished presentation and communication skills, both written and oral.

Working conditions:
Rotation of 9 weeks on and 3 weeks off
6 working days or as per operational requirements; 8 hours with lunch break
Salary level USD 3000-5000
Visa, tickets and insurance are provided
Single accommodation
Company car with driver for business purposes
