Position is Basrah and will require trips for Meetings in Dubai
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
THE PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE FABRICATION PLANNER/SCHEDULER IS MANAGE THE FLOW OF THE COMPANYS WORKFORCE TO MATCH PROJECT REQUIREMENT. EVALUATE THE EFFICIENCY OF FABRICATION OPERATIONS, PROVIDE GUIDANCE TO SHOP FOREMAN AND PRODUCTION LEADS, REPORT PROJECT PROGRESS AND RECOMMEND AREAS FOR IMPROVED PROJECT PERFORMANCE OR CORRECTIVE ACTION.
Develop daily, weekly and monthly production targets
Schedule staffing levels to satisfy pending work flow
Manage rotation of site workforce to minimize interruption of work flow
Update Field Production Managers, Foreman and Headquarters of progress, problems and solutions on daily basis
Provide support and reporting to Customers on progress of projects
Notify Headquarter on completion targets and provide direction and details to support project billings
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Candidate should have a Mechanical Engineering Degree or similar discipline with 5 to 10 year Fabrication/Piping experience. Ability to communicate with all levels of Management and ability to provide guidance and direction to Operational Team. Position requires computer literacy in scheduling and project management software.
