Marine Engineer Graduate (License)
Shore based experience in Marine and Offshore Company is an advantage.
Chief Engineer class 1
With Sea Going Experience up to the rank of Chief Engineer or 2nd Engineer
Experience in Offshore Support Vessel / DP / Jack Ups
Minimise personal injury accidents.
Maintain vessels in Class at all times, and in compliance with ISM, statutory and other regulations.
Ensure systematic and scheduled vessel planned maintenance on all vessels within operational parameters.
Ensure compliance with SMS requirements on all designated vessels.
Responsible for the efficient up keeping of technical aspects of all elements of designated vessels.
Arrange with Class surveyors attending vessels for statutory surveys and maintain vessels to Class Standard.
Attend vessels for the required number of defined Annual inspections and SMS Audits and produce timely reports in line with Operational Procedures.
Complete comprehensive Vessel Inspection Reports in accordance with the Departments Operational Procedures.
Maintain accurate records of all deficiencies and any repairs carried out, defining those deferred to dry-docking, ensuring all preparations are made prior to docking.
Ensure that vessel integrity is maintained to include the systematic maintenance of all systems, plant and auxiliary equipment.
Assist in the induction, training and development of vessel technical staff; ensure that standards of performance meet company and customer requirements.
To ensure proper identification, reporting and follow up of all insurance and warranty claims.
To maintain all small boats and marine equipment in survey where necessary and all other equipment in serviceable condition
