As Assistant manager, you will be part of the Management team and work to deliver a memorable experience for customers, by working closely with the waiting staff to ensure that we are always delivering the highest quality of food and service at all times.

Responsibilities

Youll need to:

Take responsibility for the business performance of the restaurant.
Organize marketing activities, such as promotional events and discount schemes.
Set budgets or agree them with senior management.
Coordinate the operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts.
Recruit, train, manage and motivate staff.
Respond to customer queries and complaints.
Meet and greet customers, organize table reservations.
Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety.
Check stock levels, order supplies and prepare cash drawers and petty cash, work with POS Terminal machine.

Working hours

10 hours per day including 1 hour break.

In a position of Assistant Manager, the working hours might vary depending on the business requirements, which needs flexbility to ensure proper and smooth operation.

Restaurant layout

Located in Jumeirah Lakes Towers, the restaurant can accommodate up to 198 covers (Indoor & outdoor area)

Dress code - Smart Casual.

Skills

Additional requirements:

Fluency in English, French language is required, and Arabic is an asset.
At least 2 years experience as an Assistant Manager.

The ability to cope under pressure since restaurant management can be challenging.
Good business awareness for achieving successful performance.
Team-working skills to be able to lead a team and be a part of it.
Strong planning and organizational skills to run a streamlined operation.
The ability to work independently and confidently to make your own decisions.
Problem-solving ability to resolve issues as they arise.
