Advanced Troubleshooting of RF and IP components of satellite earth stations and terrestrial circuits
Install new equipment and upgrade VSAT and Terrestrial components or systems on vessels, buildings and other customer facilities.
Complete detailed written As-Built, corrective maintenance, site survey and preventative maintenance reports in English upon completion of service activity.
Interpret technical drawings, service orders, circuit diagrams, part lists and schematics to effectively understand and troubleshoot customer issues.
4-7 Years of Hands-On Experience installing, operating and maintaining Satellite systems
Advanced skills in RF and IP with specific expertise in O3B and the company´s products, technical solutions.
English is a requirement
Additional languages are an advantage.
Good skills in MS-Office environment (Word, Excel)
Basics of RF (Satellite/Microwave) communications and IP Networking (Cisco experience preferred)
Familiar with Spectrum Analyzers and BER Test Equipment
Good mechanical skills and familiar with hand-tools and basic construction
Understand/Manipulate test equipment and tools required to diagnose VSAT systems including but not limited to; spectrum analyzers, multi-meters, data testers, hand tools, etc.
Maintain tools, test equipment and manage spares inventory as required.
Maintain the proper up-to-date documents in order to travel on short notice
O3B Experience Preferred
Must be able to obtain site clearance and pass all HSE requirements
Heavy travel required (80%) both locally and internationally (if necessary)
Ability to maintain valid passport
