Responsibilities
Receiving and answering emergency and non-emergency calls.
• Receive and answer emergency and non-emergency calls and dispatch orders.Act as a resource point for healthcare facilities (hospitals, clinics, mortuary services) utilizing the services of SEHA Ambulance Services Centre, answer customer calls for service and input.
Coordination and Facilitation • Respond to any issues and follow-up by coordinating with the appropriate departments enternally and exteraly.
• Coordinate with events and ensure the availability of ambulances, drivers, and ambulance nurses while ensuring the availability of back-up plan in a timely manner.
• Secure Gate Passes for ambulances, ambulance nurses, and drivers for airport patients
Tracking and reporting
• Constantly monitor the system ensuring ambulances are in route to post moves in a timely manner and ensure other ambulances are within acceptable distance from ambulance hub.
• Complete and submit daily status reports to the upper management
• Proactively address problems and suggest solutions.
Documentation • Record all received request in the designated platform and maintain accuracy.
Financial accountability
• Calculating the cost of each patient’s transfer of external stakeholders as per the pre-established agreement
• Communicate with the designated health care facilities with respect to self-pay cases and follow up on pending payments.
