Job Description
B&B Roadway and Security Solutions, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for an Administrative Support Specialist in our Russellville, AL location.
What you will be doing:
This position will support and assist purchasing and planning departments with job duties and tasks as assigned. Must be self-motivated but also willing and able to work with others.
Job Duties & Requirements:
Must demonstrate core values: Honesty, Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, and Trust.
Ensure all responsibilities are completed daily.
Update resource needs and spreadsheets as applicable.
Backfill critical roles in planning/purchasing during absences.
Attend Operations daily scheduling meeting.
Assist planner with scheduling activities as needed.
Assist buyer with purchase orders as needed.
Track orders and ensure timely delivery as needed.
Update ERP system with information as assigned.
Work cross-functionally with all departments when needed.
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a rapidly changing environment.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
The skills and experience you need:
At least 2 years of experience in supply chain/scheduling/procurement preferred.
Self-starting problem solver with opportunities for growth.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Must be proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Must have ability to multitask.
Independent, proactive, team player.
Attention to detail: ability to meticulously review data and documentation to ensure accuracy.
