Your Role in Keeping the Future in Safe Hands…
As the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for generating new revenue and creating demand for Vigil Nurse Call, Resident Monitoring, and VingCard electronic locking brands within the Senior Care segment for the specified region, which includes: ND, SD, NE, KS, MO, IA, MN, WI, IL, IN, KY
Primary Focus and Deliverables:
Drive new relationships and close sales opportunities while maintaining strong business relationships with Key National Accounts, Strategic Regional Properties, Property Management & Ownership Companies, and properties with over 100 rooms, as determined by the VP of Sales.
Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with Strategic Regional Properties, Property Management & Ownership Companies.
Provide necessary support and assistance to your territory, including presenting to and attending senior-level meetings at properties with fewer than 100 rooms, conducting technical consultations, and prospecting/lead-sharing with other Regional Sales Managers. Being comfortable with a solution-selling approach is imperative.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop new business and foster relationships by prospecting, proposing, and closing sales to new and existing senior care customers, including Key National Accounts, Strategic Regional Properties, Property Management & Ownership Companies, and properties with fewer than 100 rooms, as determined by the VP of Sales in the assigned geographic territory.
Provide reports, sales projections, and other documentation as requested.
Conduct effective sales calls with existing customers and cold-call prospective customers to grow territory sales.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM (Salesforce) system, documenting all customer interactions.
Demonstrate technical aptitude (extensive training will be provided, but the ability to learn new technology is essential).
Work independently within tight timelines, demonstrate self-motivation, and take initiative.
Manage relationships at a regional level with purchasing company accounts, ownership and management companies, distributors, etc.
Evaluate existing and potential customers, focusing efforts on those representing the greatest opportunity for volume growth.
Create quarterly and annual action plans based on identified opportunities; support sales and technical training needs of existing customers; investigate customer complaints and provide recommendations to management.
Maintain proficiency in all sales and technical aspects of products.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed, which are logically and properly inherent to the Sales Department.
Skill Requirements and Performance Criteria:
Must reside within the designated territory.
The ideal candidate will have a proven background in meeting and exceeding sales quotas in technical or senior care sales, preferably both.
Self-driven, energetic, and ambitious.
Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of building successful client relationships through effective communication.
Prior experience in building relationships with clients ranging from C-level executives to front-line managers.
Understanding of senior care technology and integrations, preferably related to VingCard and Nurse Call systems, PMS, mobile and Cloud solutions, or other senior care-focused products or services is preferred.
Demonstrable existing relationships and experience working with senior care ownership groups or developers is essential.
Ability to travel up to 70% of the time.
Must have a clean driving record.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Proven track record of managing and growing sales revenues.
Strong business and technical aptitude.
Ability to work with minimal direct supervision.
Must successfully pass 80% of product certification tests (AAGS hardware and software).
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
A BS degree in business or a related field, or a minimum of 5 years of sales experience.
Successful track record in business development within a regional, multi-state territory.
Experience selling technology within the senior care industry is preferred.
