Duties and responsibilities related to the Director of Food & Beverage role
Overseeing the Food & Beverage experience including Restaurants, Lounge, Bar, Events, In-Room Dining and Culinary operations
Ensuring brand standards have been implemented and colleagues deliver the brand promise, consistently providing exceptional levels of service to our guests
Overseeing and assisting in the recruitment and selection of all F&B colleagues
Developing managers through the appropriate training, coaching, and mentoring
Maximising the revenue of each division and efficiently managing costs in collaboration with the Head of Departments
Coordinating the preparation of the Annual Business Plan for Food & Beverage
Strategically analysing business performance to facilitate accurate and meaningful forecasting
Regularly evaluating local, national and international market trends, vendors and other hotel operations to make sure that the hotel’s own operations remain competitive and cutting edge
Ensuring that Food & Beverage activities are aligned with the respective strategy
Working closely with Leaders/Managers/Chefs in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests
About you
Previous experience in a similar role is essential, with a chef background being highly advantageous. Excellent communication and leadership skills are also required.
