We are looking for a Senior Risk Consultant II for our Marine line of business. This position will be remote, but candidates must reside within one of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, or Connecticut. Travel will be required throughout the Northeast United States. The Impact You Will Have
Responsible for providing loss control expertise, support and assistance to AGCS and its customers, to assist Allianz underwriting in risk selection and retention. Provide ongoing co-ordination and monitoring of the loss control activity / servicing of assigned accounts & loss control survey work to assist with servicing of assigned accounts. Develop and maintain professional working relationships with Underwriting, Market Management, Communications, Claims, clients and brokers. Maintain and enhance technical skills and expertise in respective field to support the business.
Some of your specific responsibilities could include:?
Complete desk top reviews and risk assessments (pre & post loss) for underwriting evaluating and summarizing exposures and controls. Ability to review procedures and logistics operation review of clients with Pharma and Theft attractive goods exposure.
Work with underwriting, claims, the client and the broker where appropriate to develop customized loss control programs including locations to be surveyed (or included as part of continuing service), scope and cost of risk consulting services. Able to provide loss prevention guidance to clients in cargo security matters
Generate and review required reports and recommendations. Meet reporting deadlines in accordance with departmental performance objectives.
Survey client operations obtain appropriate data, identify hazards, discuss findings with appropriate parties. Generate loss control reports, recommendations etc.
Appoint/monitor 3rd parties ensuring adequate contract/controls in place with budgets agreed up front. Check and ensure quality of work provided by 3rd parties.
Assist AzC and clients with respect to ongoing or specific projects. Support technical training presentations for internal and external clients as required / appropriate.
